Discover the untold stories of adaptive athletes, veterans, and everyday warriors who turned pain into power—listen now to The Frontier Within
The idea for The Frontier Within was born in the quiet chaos of the COVID-19 lockdown. Isolated from the world, a small group of us made a pact: instead of letting the weight of isolation break us, we’d channel it into something extraordinary. That “something” became Mount Kilimanjaro—a towering symbol of resilience and possibility. For 18 months, we trained with purpose. And when we finally reached the summit, it wasn't just a physical victory—it was proof that when you push past fear, discomfort, and doubt, anything is possible.
For me, the climb held even deeper meaning. As a disabled veteran living with a progressive neuromuscular disease, my body is often in rebellion—but my spirit refuses to quit. I’ve spent years redefining what strength looks like: not just through heavy lifts or hard climbs, but by walking alongside others as a health and wellness coach, and as a guide for those navigating their own internal battles. This journey—of struggle, growth, and grit—has become the soul of The Frontier Within.
This podcast is a space where raw conversations meet real transformation. It exists because one friend believed in the mission enough to donate $500 to get it off the ground. That single act of belief lit the fuse.
At its core, The Frontier Within is about exploring the terrain that can’t be seen on a map: the inner wilderness we all carry. It’s about veterans, adaptive athletes, and everyday warriors who’ve faced the impossible—and kept moving. Because the toughest climbs don’t always happen on mountains. Sometimes, the steepest summit is simply becoming who you’re meant to be.
