Welcome to Revolution Wellness! My name is Daniel Blevins, and I am a devoted father of three, a passionate adventurer, a world traveler, and an adaptive athlete who defies limitations. With a Master’s degree in Health Promotion and Wellness, I am also a licensed personal trainer, TRX-certified instructor, certified guided imagery instructor, and a post-traumatic growth instructor. My mission is to inspire others to transform their lives through healthy habits, goal setting, and community building—proving that resilience and determination can overcome even the most daunting challenges.
I live with a neuromuscular disease that impacts my mobility, strength, and coordination. Despite this, I have embraced a life of adventure, perseverance, and growth. From climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and cycling across the country to running marathons, winning strength competitions, and completing the El Tour de Tucson, my journey is a testament to the power of grit and adaptability.
However, my path to this fulfilling life was anything but easy. Growing up, I faced significant adversity, including a childhood marked by instability, mental and physical abuse, and poverty. These experiences shaped my resolve to rise above my circumstances. Fitness and martial arts became my outlet and foundation, teaching me discipline and mental fortitude. This mindset allowed me to graduate high school and ultimately pursue my goals.
After high school, I served in the U.S. Army as a Recon soldier. Over 36 months in combat zones in Iraq and Afghanistan, I participated in intense missions and was honored to serve as a Human Research Volunteer, enduring extreme conditions such as hypothermia studies and high-altitude experiments. While my time in the military was cut short due to the progression of my neuromuscular disease, it prepared me for the challenges I would face in civilian life.
Transitioning to civilian life came with its own set of hurdles—chronic pain, unemployment, and the loss of my grandmother, who had been my rock. Despite these struggles, I refused to let adversity define me. I rediscovered my purpose by organizing and coaching a team of veterans for my first Tough Mudder event, igniting my passion for building community through fitness and wellness.
Today, I am committed to helping others overcome their own obstacles, whether physical, mental, or emotional. At Revolution Wellness, I combine my professional expertise with my personal experience to support individuals in reaching their full potential. I firmly believe that proper training, goal setting, and teamwork can transform lives—and I am here to guide you on your journey.
